We have found her to be very caring and interested in her patients.  She has called us back late on a weekend evening when one of our boys had a bellyache and thought he was going to die (so did we) and given us good advice for making him more comfortable and us less worried.  She has come right out (we live 30 miles from her) when we had a dystocia early on a Sunday morning.  We have found her charges to be reasonable and she even sends out a periodic newsletter with sections for equine and camelid owners on vet topics such as Lymes, BVD, etc.  She has indicated a willingness to learn about alpacas - attending the neonatal conference and several other such conferences.  Recently I watched her geld 4 of our boys (without causing any noticeable stress and no bloodloss either) using a new procedure she had learned at some inservice recently.  She also does ultrasounds for pregnancy and does not require a chute to do it.  She has many of the Asheville area alpaca and llama farms as clients, and I think any of them would recommend her.
