Credence Farm Alpacas, LLC is owned by Brian and Amanda Fitzgerald. We are supported in the business by our four young children and our many spirited domestic animals. Credence Farm Alpacas is a small, family-owned and operated suri alpaca farm, located in Lewisville, North Carolina, just west of Winston-Salem. We are home to a full range of suri alpacas, from the finest Peruvian, Accoyo, Bolivian, and Chilean bloodlines to fiber/pet quality animals.
Our decision to raise alpacas evolved from a desire to work together as a family in an earth-friendly business. After much research into the practical and financial aspects of the business, raising alpacas was an easy answer to what we sought. Like many families, though, we are managing our alpaca business and working other jobs. Brian currently works full-time in surgical sales, while Amanda has her own family-services business. Some day in the not-too-distant future, we hope to focus on alpaca farming full-time. In the meantime, we remain a realistic and reliable resource for other families who are interested in balancing alpaca farming and other full-time work. If you are interested in breeding services, we are pleased to offer two outstanding herdsires, both at very reasonable stud fees. Credence Farm Alpacas also offers agisting services, if you are looking for a place to board your animals. With eight animals currently boarding with us, we are proud to say that we offer personalized care to each and every one. Most of our alpacas are housed in a hand-hewn log barn which is just steps away from the 180-year old log home in which we live. Our alpaca farm is located on a larger family-owned farm. The upper 40 acres is devoted to our home, alpaca farm, and hay field. The lower 60 acres is comprised of wooded area, a large pond, and a 10-acre vineyard, all of which back up to the Yadkin River. In further promotion of the "farm lifestyle," Credence Farm is also home to four dogs, one cat, two goats, a horse and pony, peafowl, guinea fowl, and a multitude of chickens. Since we started in the alpaca business in early 2004, we have grown more and more each day to love the amazing creatures who both grace and graze in our pastures. We welcome visitors to Credence Farm Alpacas.
