I have been in contact with a nationally known alpaca shearer about shearing in NC/SC starting in the Spring 2007.  Mark and his crew are ready and able.  I am willing to compile information on farm locations and projected numbers of animals to shear in approx. April 2007.  Some smaller farms may need to group at a host farm to make it worthwhile for the shearer to set-up.  Price will be $35 or less per animal.  No extra fee for show fleeces. I realize shearing seems way off now, but the schedules are typically set by late fall.  If you are even remotely interested, please send me an e-mail or call me ASAP!
