Boarding
Boarding: Credence Farm Alpacas offers agistment services for those
who are looking to board their animals. The care we provide for our
boarded animals is the same as we provide for our own. Alpacas are fed
hay and grain (Dr. Evan's Alpaca Maintenance by Blue Seal Feed) twice
daily. Our hay is a mix of orchard and timothy, and we supplement with
a small amount of top-quality alfalfa. Water is refreshed at each
feed. Mineral supplements (Dr. Evans' Alpaca Blend E) are available
free-choice throughout the day. All animals have free access to the
main barn or other covered shelter, as well as pasture for grazing.
Pricing and Terms: Our current fee for boarding is $2.50 per animal
per day or $1 per day for cria under 6 months of age. The Boarding Fee
covers day-to-day care, nutrition, and routine worming. Discounts are
offered for multiple animals (four or more) boarded with us. Our
Birthing Fee is $250, which covers the birth and routine newborn care.
Owner is responsible for all veterinary bills.
